Helping the media get the story right is a foundational tactic in our advocacy. In an era of talking heads and spinning narratives, we remain steadfast in our loyalty to firefighters themselves and the public that they serve.  Our first and foremost intent is to keep the spotlight on the most important part of the story, and all to often the part that those who’ve never done the job are quick to forget.
